Sure, old yet reliable may suffice for a car that gets you to and from work every day. But this simply does not hold true for your cottage boat, which also needs to be stylish, comfortable, versatile and just plain fun.
This is an especially tall order for vessels under 25 feet, as it requires packing a lot into a limited amount of space. The deckboat provides designers with a little more room to work with, but it still requires some creativity. Starcraft accomplishes this with its Limited 2410 OB deckboat.
As an all-around cottage fun boat, the 2410 ticks all the boxes. There is a large integrated bow platform as well as an extended swim platform portside at the stern both are equipped with boarding ladders and sizeable walk-throughs. As expected, there is plenty of comfortable seating forward and aft, and a large in-floor locker for gear. The standard Bimini top will definitely be a welcome addition on scorcher days.
Some thoughtful additions include the removable lighted porta-potty in the passenger console and 36-quart cooler. There is also a pressurized freshwater system for the sink sprayer and the transom shower.
Depending on how you plan to use it, you can opt to further customize your 2410. Tow sport options on the menu include a ski tow eye and wakeboard tower. For fishing fun, add on such features as the aerated baitwell, removable fishing seat, and rod holders or rod storage. You may also want to take advantage of
the optional removable snap-in carpet and digital depth finder.
With all your guests taken care of, youll be happy to relax behind the wheel. The gauge placement is high, keeping your eyes on the water ahead, with switches and AM/FM stereo (with aux input) close at hand. Tilt steering and a sliding, flip-up bolster bucket will allow you to custom position for ultimate comfort.
The Limited 2410 OB continued to prove its mettle out on the water. The reverse chine hull offered up a nice, high ride. Not only will this keep you dry, but it is sure to save you gas dollars. Although acceleration seemed a little sluggish, the numbers were good reaching 20 mph from idle in 4.45 seconds and settling quickly onto plane at around 15 mph and 3200 rpm. Cruising was very smooth all the way up to the boats top speed of 47.2 mph at 5700 rpm.
With its Limited 2410 OB, Starcraft makes sure your possibilities for fun and adventure are limitless.
