2006 Yamaha Yamaha FX High Output Description

Dark forces were at work during the creation of Yamaha's wickedlooking 2006 FX High Output. The high-performance machine looks outright nasty - in a cool way of course that's bound to appeal to hot rodders everywhere.
The solar yellow colour scheme and sleek aerodynamic surface of the hull, will make you look like you're dominating the water even without hitting the throttle. When you do, hang on tight. The beefy 160 hp four-stroke engine will rocket you forward faster than a kick in the pants. It's the Yamaha's stellar powerto- weight ratio that gives it awesome acceleration. The hull is built from a new, high-tech sheet molded compound material with a progressive stepper draft V hull and performance sponsons. In a nutshell, it's shaped to go fast.
Of course, the FX High Output's new pump design is also a contributing factor. The 155 millimeter, high pressure pump, high flow intake duct and grate, and stainless steel impeller, team up to increase stream velocity and thrust while decreasing cavitation and prop spin. Yet this smokin' machine is easy to handle thanks to Yamaha's Quick Shift Trim System which offers an instant change in the watercraft's attitude with 24 degrees of trim range, and the five-step adjustable tilt steering system that enables riders to angle the steering column from 55 to 35 degrees to ensure comfortable control.
This PWC features more clever elements, including the industry's first remote controlled transmitter, which allows you to activate and deactivate the High Output's digital security system to kill the engine from up to 30 feet away. It will also activate the new low rpm mode, which limits engine output in order to keep rookie riders cruising at a safe speed. Beastly beauty, brawn and brains - the FX High Output is a high performance wet dream come true.
